Girls Burda Tunic and Shorts Set with floral embroidered neckline

Burda is the word for it. The town of Lumban in Laguna province is called the embroidery capital of the country. Artisans there stretch fabric over a bamboo hoop and stitch florals, animals, and geometric shapes by hand. Many of the designs come from nature and folklore.

The tiny flowers at the neckline of our Burda Tunic & Shorts Set are inspired by this tradition and by the artisans who keep it alive.

Filipino American History Month is in October. It honors the first Filipinos to land in California, at Morro Bay on October 18, 1587. A story like this stays up all year.
