No se preocupes/Don't worry.

Just because Day of the Dead/Dia de los Metros is over, doesn't mean it's over, over.

In fact, the fun is just beginning. You will get to relive the excitement when

Disney•Pixar’s COCO hits theaters November 22.

Here's the trailer

We cannot wait for more folks to learn about Day of the Dead as it is not meant to be scary nor is it considered a Mexican Halloween.

What it is, however, is a beautiful holiday full of tradition. Day of the Dead is a 2-day event honoring our loved ones who have passed away.

Traditionally, alters are created with such things as sugar sculls or calaveras, marigolds and colored paper decorating the alter.

It's about wearing special clothes, decorating your face, singing and dancing.

Dia de los Meurtos is about never forgetting your heritage and your ancestors.

It's also about cooking your loved ones favorite foods and baking pan de puerto with hot chocolate.

Take a look at the recipe provided by Disney.

Let us know what you do to celebrate the holiday.
