Celebrating Birthday Traditions with Elf on the Shelf!

Earlier this month, I attended a fabulous event hosted by the Niche Parent Network in Studio City. I had the opportunity to mix and mingle with other savvy bloggers, as well as to meet Carol Aebersold, the co-author and co-creator of the popular Elf on the Shelf series.

I've always been a big believer in entrepreneurship. Did you know that Carol started the company at the age of 55 with her two twin daughters, Chanda Bell and Christa Pitts? I think that is so remarkable and inspiring. What started out as a book about Christmas traditions has developed into a merchandising empire.

Elf on the Shelf has now added a new tradition to its mix, the birthday tradition! Here are a few photos from their line of birthday decorations and fun merchandise.
I really enjoyed listening to Carol speak about her brand's evolution. I believe that it is never too late to reinvent yourself. As you know, I have several passion projects that I am involved in. Meeting with Carol has taught me that it is important to never give up and to stay true to yourself.

Disclosure: I attended an event on behalf of the Niche Parent Network. No monetary compensation was received for this post. All photos, thoughts & opinions are 100% mine.
